Venetia and Guatam with their young son came from Bangalore and headed straight to our base in the North West of England before spending a week in the Scottish Highlands. Their generous feedback was much appreciated by the Explore team and we hope to see then again (In India ?)
Venetia said "This is the best way to experience Scotland. Drive those stunning roads while it rains, and as soon as the sun shines find a secluded place and set up your picnic or camping spot. A great car, fully equipped, and a very comfortable tent. We loved it and Pete at Explore Campers could not have been more helpful and good humoured. Thank you. We are totally inspired and hope to do this in India, where we live."
Kathryn and Andrew with their two sons drove to Skye last week and gave the following feedback:Kathryn Richardson , York England
"Thank you, missing OUR Land Rover already, Loved it, still dreaming of waking up next to the sea"
Our travels in the Defender took us to Northeast England and Southeast Scotland - from Whitby, to Eyemouth and then Coldingham - where we saw some extraordinary vistas of highlands, moors and age-old castles and fishing villages.
The Defender was perfectly kitted out for our needs making the journey both efficient and comfortable. We stayed at Caravan Parks along the route which were clean and welcoming. Of course, whenever we stopped, the Defender gathered crowds - at one park the fellow campers dubbed us "The Explorers."
Thanks to Explore Campers for an incredible experience. We'll be back!John A Edelmann, https://www.facebook.com/john.a.edelmann%20
This was our first time in a Campervan and your recommendations on Spain were spot on, the ferry trip to Santander was like a mini cruise, and the Picos mountains were stunning as you promised. Our kids loved learning to body surf in Noja and wouldn’t leave! The van (once I got used to the size) was perfect, and the space for all our gear and bikes meant everyone was kept happy and could get around. Thanks a lot to all the team at Explore for helping with our route and planning and a million questions! See you next year.John Holden, Spain
